Different security levels.
Basic user: Phone Numbers are hidden from normal search results, you must click 'Edit' to see numbers. This prevents users from "scraping" data from the database.
Standard user: Standard functionality - for all normal users. Can Edit all contacts but can only delete their own.
Data manager: Ability to delete any contacts in the database. Data managers can add new users, 'Reset' (but not see) passwords. More advanced group manipulation features - can be dangerous if the user is not properly trained. The role does not necessarily imply seniority in the company rather competence on the system.
Event registrar: An additional role which can be assigned to any of the above and is used for ON Site registration purposes, event registration and name badge printing. This role must be set up by the OpenNetworks system administrator. There is also an Advanced registrar which allows one user to handle two events simultaneously.
